Natural Resources Wales are undertaking a stakehol Natural Resources Wales are undertaking a stakeholder survey of its services for recreation. Every one of you who rides NRW sites (both official and unofficial) including our local forests, mountains and upland areas are all stakeholders and should complete this survey.

So here is a chance to exercise your opinions and hopefully influence positive change in the future for improved mtb access, dialogue and collaboration with volunteer groups such as TCNW and investment into infrastructure which should benefit all of us!

We are sorry to report that we have had messages f We are sorry to report that we have had messages from some of the builders of Granny Smasher and Gorilla Biscuits today. Freshly repaired trails that had been blocked and had signs explaining the reason for the closure had been ridden a number of times.
In addition to that, it seems that broken glass had been deliberately placed on the trail.
Words fail us on this one, and we would ask that anyone who has any information passes it on to us.
Please share 🙏🏼

It's been a busy old week for TCNW. A while back w It's been a busy old week for TCNW. A while back we were delighted when @patagoniaeurope asked us to host an evening around wild trails and the challenges that face them, and more importantly give the community things they can do.

@kathgoodey shared the latest on our progress, and what's next for TCNW.
We were joined by @manoncarpenter who showed "winds of change", a film by her and @dwaco_ on how extreme weather is affecting our trails. (something we know all too well ☠️)
@winterdom1 from @protectourwintersuk gave a robust update on the state of the climate and the importance outdoor communities like ours (yours!) play in the fight for a rideable planet.
The questions and discussion from you guys were fantastic and gave a real insight into the depth of care given for our wild places, the future is bright for trails.

@tomlaws also caught up with @dyfimtb to hear about their latest relationship developments with their land managers, then joined the @patagoniaeurope and @pedalmtbltd crew for a few laps in the sun....

As if that wasn't enough, we'll be joining @trashfreetrails at Llyn Padarn for their #EarthDay clean up (and @amigos__burritos !)

Oh, and the project plan has been progressing, sturdy exchanges around trail access and the welcome we afford visitors to @parc_eryri have occurred, and we even found time for #beersforbuilders

Afternoon folks, hope you all had a good weekend o Afternoon folks, hope you all had a good weekend on the hillsides. There are a few trails that have been closed in the Gwydir area by the people putting in the hard graft. Also after the wind there are a few trees down. If you come across a sign, please respect the closure. It’ll benefit us all in the long run 👊
We hope you’ve all had a good day shredding and We hope you’ve all had a good day shredding and are now enjoying a nice drink in front of a warm fire. While you all warm up, have a think about the trails you’ve ridden this weekend. There’s an incredible amount of hard work put in to build and then maintain a trail. It’s the people who give up their spare time to shape the dirt we ride on we have to thank for the tracks we all enjoy each ride. The next time you’re out in between the trees if you come across a trail closure, please respect it. It’s disappointing heading for a trail head to find it’s closed, but it’s only right to respect the guys and girls putting in the graft to build and revamp a trail. If the riding community can work together, it can only lead to good things. 👊 See you on the trails.
