Today sees the launch of the UK MTB Trail Alliance Today sees the launch of the UK MTB Trail Alliance @ukmtbtrailalliance bringing together 130 trail associations, groups of informal trail stewards and commercial bike parks. The aim, just like that of Trail Collective North Wales , is to advocate for the future of local mtb trails and help ensure they are maintained. Volunteer groups like ours need support and help in order to make our voices heard by landowners. We have gone as far as we can as a stand-alone organisation and despite having support in principle from Welsh Cycling, our local MS and councils. We now need a proactive and representative organisation to help us push our project over the line here in North Wales. Please get behind the UK MTB Trail Alliance and support this new chapter in UK mountain biking.
As the UK MTB Trail Project moves in to its second As the UK MTB Trail Project moves in to its second stage, it’s time to get your voices heard. Please could as many of you as possible support this massively important drive to build a UK wide picture of the trails you, the riders value most highly.
Thank you all very much and we are aware that there’s been a lot of surveys to fill in in the last year or so but it’s all contributing to a growing body of research into what recreational off-road riders actually want! Link to survey below and in story.

Have you had a chance to fill in Welsh Cyclings mo Have you had a chance to fill in Welsh Cyclings most recent questionnaire yet? It’s a great opportunity for us to express any thoughts and feelings we have about the recent and pre-existing changes, rules and collaborations British Cycling and Welsh Cycling have made. Natural Resources Wales are undertaking a stakehol Natural Resources Wales are undertaking a stakeholder survey of its services for recreation. Every one of you who rides NRW sites (both official and unofficial) including our local forests, mountains and upland areas are all stakeholders and should complete this survey.

So here is a chance to exercise your opinions and hopefully influence positive change in the future for improved mtb access, dialogue and collaboration with volunteer groups such as TCNW and investment into infrastructure which should benefit all of us!

We are sorry to report that we have had messages f We are sorry to report that we have had messages from some of the builders of Granny Smasher and Gorilla Biscuits today. Freshly repaired trails that had been blocked and had signs explaining the reason for the closure had been ridden a number of times.
In addition to that, it seems that broken glass had been deliberately placed on the trail.
Words fail us on this one, and we would ask that anyone who has any information passes it on to us.
Please share 🙏🏼
